Stupid Ancient History:
Stupid Ancient History By: Leland Gregory
Non-Fiction: History, Humor, 256 pages
Physical Book Count: 1
Book Count: 2
Each entry in this book is about a page long and about something in ancient history. Some things are on people, some on laws, some on the science and medicine of the day. There are recurring sections with ancient graffiti as well as where it was found. Unsurprisingly, the ancient graffiti reads much like modern graffiti only with historic names. There are also sections on Biblical laws (mostly passages from Old Testament Laws.)

A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived:
A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived by: Adam Rutherford
Non-fiction: science, E-book
E-book Count: 1
Book Count: 1
This book is on the history of humanity and of the genetic history of humans. The science in the book is quite interesting. It is explained in a way that is easy to understand for someone without a strong scientific background. It is only when the author tries to talk on other subjects that aren't his specialty does it become an issue. For example, when he tries to talk about religion or philosophy, anyone with a basic understanding of the subject would see the flaws in his arguments. But, the science itself is interesting enough that I was able to skim though the sections where he tries to talk on subjects that aren't his area of specialty to get to the science sections.
