January Books:

 My preliminary reading goal for the year is 52 books with at least 25 of them being e-books.


The Ghostly Tales of Flint by Anna Lardinois 
Non-Fiction: History, Children's 112 pages
This book turned out to be based on a book that I had already read, but with the book being geared to children the parts of the ghost stories that they focused on was slightly different.

Billy the Kid's Old Timey Oddities by Eric Powell, Kyle Hotz
Fiction: Graphic Novel, Paranormal, 104 pages
The premise of this series is that Billy the Kid faked his death and then ended up working with a traveling freak show.  In this book they are dealing with Victor Frankenstein.

Fiction: Graphic Novel, Paranormal, 112 pages
In this book they go to London and deal with Jack the Ripper, Mr. Hyde, Dracula and meet the Elephant Man.

Fiction: Graphic Novel, Paranormal, 112 pages
They are now dealing with Dracula in Scotland.

She-Hulk, Volume 1: Single Green Female by Dan Slott, Juan Bobillo, Paul Pelletier
Fiction: Graphic Novel, 136 pages
All the She-Hulk are a collection of the comics.

This book is collection of drink recipes from the pioneer age, in a modern format. 

The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America's Shining Women by Kate Moore
Non-fiction: History, Science, Biographies, e-book
This is the story of the dial painters of multiple factories who ended up being poisoned by the radium and the unsafe practices of the companies.

Fiction: Graphic Novel, 192 pages

Non-fiction: History, e-book
For years people had been trying to make diamonds, in 1905 Henri Lemoine claimed to have done so.

This novena is about 9 Marian shrines around the USA.

A book on dog ownership.

This fictionalized account of real life people is about life in South Korea in the 1980's for a group of students.

The Electricity Fairy by Alex Mar 
Non-fiction: History, e-book
Loïe Fuller was a dancer unlike anyone before her.  She used light, movement, and specialized clothing in new ways.  Also inventions and discoveries from others ranging from Edison to the Curies helped her dance evolve.

This is the story of how many of the stolen art and objects of WWII were recovered, with the objects dealing with the symbols of the Holy Roman Empire being the main story.

The story of the Apache Wars, as told by the Apache.
