December Books:

 As of today I have completed my increased Goodreads goal of 100 books, with 123 books.

A look at the history of the use of tie on pockets in women's clothing.  It includes what a pocket or lack of pockets meant to women at various times, and stations in life, how they were used, both expected and more surprising uses, pockets in art & stories, and the ending of their use.

A Cast of Falcons by: Sarah Yarwood-Lovett
Fiction: Mystery, E-book
This is book 2 in the series.  In this book Nell's best friend Percy is getting married at Nell's family estate.  It was hurried up due to the health of his mother, but Percy's parents first can't make it, and then when they do, it is to tell her she is disowned if she goes through with the wedding.  He end's up dead, possibly do to a drunken accident, but possibly it was murdered, and of course she wants to solve the mystery of who might have killed him, given that everyone who knows him there has a reason to kill him.

This book is on the history of tattoos, especially the changing meanings of tattoos as they became more middle class and not just worn by outsiders.
