More Weird Things Our Cat Does

Our cat is obsessed with opening doors. Especially at around 5 in the morning. I have no idea how an animal that randomly sleeps threw out the day and never goes outside can have a better since of time them most people, but all cats seam to have that ability. Any way every day at 5 a.m. he seams to think he must open every door he can. Especially the door to the room his food is usually in. Even if the food is not in there. (Say it’s like right next to his dish where if all he wanted was food he could just tip it over and eat.) Now some doors are easy to open because they aren’t latched and only need to be pushed or use a paw under the door to pull it. But, the food door is different. It is latched shut. So what does the cat do? He reaches up and tries to turn the handle. This would be incredible cute if he wasn’t doing it at 5 in the morning, but that is the one time in the day he has decided to work on this skill. We’ll let you know when he masters it. (And you know as a cat he’ll get it one day.)
