This is a story where Ramses the Great didn’t really die, but became an immortal and faked his death. A British archeologist finds where he was sleeping since the death of Cleopatra (his lover) and accidentally wakes him up. From there the story gets interesting. It was a hard to put down book. It also was made into a comic book.
