This is a short biography of St. Francis of Assisi with some info on St. Clair as well as how he influenced Pope Francis and others. The parts that are a biography of Sts. Francis and Clair are okay, but very limited. When not recounting the lives of St Francis and his companions the author's voice is overwhelming and preachy. For example, he spends almost more time telling us what he will talk about later then actually talking about a subject.
