Once you get past being told all about how this book is in Australia the story is a fun combination of story elements. Sibyl is a newly divorced women that is also physic. She moves to a small town to start a pet washing business and move into a cottage her ex found her. Her landlady runs a boarding house where a murder takes place the day she arrives. The detective on the case is good looking and single. Each chapter starts with a quote about dogs. In short it has all sorts of common mystery and mystery sub-genre things in it and also Australia!
