This book is about heavy water being made in Norway during WWII. Heavy water being a by-product being made in the plant in Vemork, Norway that was thought to be useful in the making of atomic bombs. It is the story of mostly Norwegian people who worked with the Allies (mostly Britain) to sabotage the plant and the Nazis efforts in Norway.
