This book takes place during the time of the current Doctor (#13) and her companions (as of the 1st series with the 13th Doctor.) In it they all travel to the future and land on the planet of Lobos. Lobos is a planet with beings that evolved from dog like beings and also humans have colonized there. When they first get there they work to help broker a peace between to two groups of peoples. They then go back, what should have been a few minutes later because Ryan forgot his phone. But they land many generations into the future. A future where the Lobos are slaves to the humans and there is a religion built around "The Good Doctor." Only they think Graham is the Doctor and the religion is the exact opposite of everything the Doctor believes in.
